I thought this thread was locked. Whoops... :oops: I guess winter break is in session now at my University, so I'll have time to catch up. It may be a couple days though.

@FairyInBoots

I guess you've got a point. I took a few glances at those groups, but never joined any of them. I only use the site to keep up with the local community where I live and to stay in touch with friends I know.

I've had plenty of bad reactions from people for being goth. Anything from having feces, beer bottles, rocks, you name it thrown at me to people gutting my kitties and sticking them in my mailbox or smearing them all over my front porch (All my beasties are inside only now). I work very hard to rem...

This game has already robbed me of way too much of my time.

I could never say "no" to an Elder Scrolls title. I've been playing them since Daggerfall... XD

I've been on there a while, but I seldom use it, especially after I left all the groups I was a part of that ended up giving me more headache than they were worth, to me. I know what you're saying. I'd have probably stopped using the site if I didn't have so many local "IRL" friends who u...

I did a few searches and I'm surprised nobody posted this one yet. It is a social networking site, not a dating site. Some people seem unaware of that fact, but overall, I like how the website is set up. Don't go making an account unless you are sure you are at least 18 years old. EDIT: Link is not ...

You should try some 3+ year aged cheddar before you go dismissing it as a "Wuss cheese." :P

I'm trying to plug my laptop into an old CRT Television to watch movies on my hard drive. This has led me to search for something that adapts the Standard monitor plug (RGB) to an AV output. I've been Googling this for a while, and haven't been finding anything useful. All I ever find are those damn...

As for me, the geekiest thing is... well, I was indoctrinat... talked into a "Vampire - The Requiem" game, and I'd have to try pretty hard to get any geekier than that. I don't know about that - I think begging to take part as soon as you heard about it would qualify as geekier. :lol: Tru...

I don't care what the lobbyists have to say. NASCAR does not belong in the defense budget. It's hundreds of thousands of gas-guzzling, brain cell killing left turns...

Yeah, she was the second person I heard say it, but I really didn't want to refer to her site. :P

Yeah - There are a lot of times I agree with her, but I certainly can't claim that she is unbiased.

The main threat about union busting is the simple fact that in the light of the Citizen's United decision, unions are the only Democratic power involved in elections anymore. Of the 10 largest campaign contributors in the 2010 elections, only 3 were Democratic in nature...and those three were union...
