I read on the bunch of sites that Ville is recording his SOLO-ALBUM which will be released BEFORE the new HIM album... and... ??? it will be a strange (and let me say Frankenstein-like) mixture of classic, country ??? and rock music. Oh... my... God... this is too much
I heard the same too. He also said that he wants to rush the HIM album and write the whole thing in about 2 months. He's pushing HIM back to an October/November release so he can get his solo album out first.
I honestly don't see the band staying together for a long time.

I do. Linde had also released his solo and they're still together...

If you're talking about "Daniel Lioneye" that's a collaboration between Ville, Linde and Mige and another member who isn't of HIM.

I really like HIM.I think Ville is a brilliant singer, however, I find that 'thing' he does with his voice sometimes (You know, at the end of 'And Love Said No' where it almost screeches) to be very irritating.

I find HIM in general to be very irritating.

I'm wearing my HIM shirt now. I do like them but i wouldn't build a shrine in my closet or anything close to that extreme. Ville's hot though, you gotta give him that. :p

I'm a little obsessed with HIM
I love everything about them- the lyrics, the style, Ville's voice, the tunes.... and Ville Valo is one of the most beautiful human beings ever to walk the earth.

I agree.
The music on it's own wouldn't sound so bad.But much like CoF,the vocals completely kill it for me.

You know, that actually sums up what happened for me when I tried them out. I was listening, thinking the music was alright, recording quality was decent, composition wasn't bad. Then that guy started singing and it turned me off completely. Yet, he's kinda the whole band as far as reputation and writing, so I guess we can't be rid of him.

Speaking of that - I actually thought that they were a joke band when I first heard their stuff...I mean...music like that can't be serious...can it?
