I've seen Black Death. Pretty good movie, easy to digest and interesting from historical point of view (not much of the history, but it hints nicely on witch hunting and plague). Big plus for writers making up their own story, not making another "historically based" tragedy like The Other Boleyn Girl. Btw, both movies feature Eddie Redmayne who is sort of hilarious in Black Death and grows nice hair in the end ;)

Good cast, nice settings. Overall - I strongly recommend :D

Last film I watched was The House Of The Devil. I didn't expect much from it, but I found myself entertained and the story kept my interest. It has a strong 80's feel to it, as it actually takes place sometime in the early 80's. Decent story revolving around a young girl who accepts a "babysitting" job in some big old house. This isn't a haunted house flick though, as the real story begins once we start to learn what the characters' agendas are, and how it relates to a satanic cult. I don't want to say much more as not to spoil it. Nothing spectacular, but I would say worth watching, especially for those that are into horror flicks that were made in that said era.

By the way, I second Black Death. Such a great film! I grabbed the Blu Ray not too long ago.

Boondock Saints 1 & 2, I love those movies! I actually saw a customer today with "veritas" tattooed on one hand. I asked him "Do you have 'aequitas' on the other?" He did. ^_^

Recently saw No Country For Old Men, I actually liked it.

Probably because it's awesome.

The last movies I watched were called: The Tomb Of Ligeia (1964) and The Oblong Box (1969), both after stories by E. A. Poe. The second I didn't like it...the first it was ok.

I've been watching The Prophecy films for the first time over the past few days. I just watched the third one (the last with Christopher Walken) yesterday and will watch the fourth later today

I hadn't realised they made any more after the first 3, I'd be curious to watch the others, but after checking, apparently only Uprising was released over here :(

No Forsaken where you're at?

I havn't watched Forsaken yet, but I did watch Uprising today. It wasn't bad, and definitly worth a watch, but it's not as good as the first three and a little weird not having Christopher Walken as Gabriel in it (or even mentioned, really). Plus, it was kinda cool to see Doug Bradly in something other than Hellraiser and not in the heavy makeup.

If you can rent Uprising (since you said at least that one has been released out there) I say check out just for the heck of it.

The City of Lost Children. Actually, I have watched this movie many times including today. It's one of those films that remind me of Steampunk. I recommend everyone to watch this film at least once. It's dubbed in French and English.

Yeah, I love the Prophecy series, even if the 3rd isn't that great, so I'll get Uprising, and I'm sure I'll be able to find some way of watching Forsaken.
It's really annoying me now that I know I haven't seen the complete Prophecy story!

Last film I watched was Drive, which has been sitting in my DVD collection for months, I wish I hadn't put it off for so long as I absolutely loved it, Ryan Goslings performance in particular was fantastic, of course a film about a getaway driver called "Drive" needs good car sequences, and this definitely delivers on that front, I'd recommend this to anyone.

Oh! I totally forgot to mention the soundtrack! 80's electro, with some Kraftwerk style Kraut Rock influences, absolutely wonderful, I'm already harassing my local indie record store to get the Vinyl in for me :P

The Final Destination. What got me about that film, it said "The but there were ones before it. And after. Oh, then Resident Evil. That was a mess. Not bad though.
