I think that was interestng, but i do not know if i am willing to believe it. I think it just gives people an excuse to spend more money than they have, so that when they are backed into a corner they can shout "It's not my fault, I have amygdala damage!"
If it is true i think it is amazing , and I would wonder if it only centers around money itself or ecomonics in general, since neither one has existed since the very beginning of time. After all, was not economics and trade and money all things that had to be delevoped as the populations grew?

On a side note:

Why make the health care pay for it, those poor incapable people are all to happy to spend their money...

I too have a disease, its called the "nothing wrong with me at the moment" syndrome and is characterized by taking responsibility for my actions. Offering amygdalar extractions should be lucrative, "An Hero" style.

So we would hope. But before hand, if you can get th person to agree to it, then who is to care (other than the person with the problem) about what happens after?

OOPS you're right. They'd have to figure out payment terms before the procedure...and then find they were screwed afterwards...

I think all the genetic crap is nothing but a way to avoid responsibility. A genetic predisposition, even if valid, would only be one of numerous factors to consider.
