The Fringe!!! Best gory show on TV and Walter will always be my favorite insane scientist. Anything by J. J. Abrams has got to be good.

How about Kindred:the Embraced based on the always lovely Vampire: The Masquerade? I was a tad dissapointed that my malkavians weren't in it.

Edward Scissorhands is my favourite movie. It's so nice, Edward's character is nice as well. (I don't watch TV shows now).

I see Blackavar mentioned Hellboy 2 much earlier on this thread. Here's to that! I saw the first Hellboy last night - and it's even darker! Definitely one of my favorites that belongs on this thread.

The first Hellboy had a lot more going on.

The second was fish boy meets twig girl. The deux et machina was a letdown though.

Re: Gothic TV shows and movies.
Favorite Gothic Movie: This is hard...It's a tie between Sweeney Todd (saw it on stage....really was not impressed with the staging), Edward Scissorhands, Ringu, and Underworld.
Favorite Gothic TV Show: Dark Shadows, from the '60s. The '90s one was just crap.

Re: Gothic TV shows and movies.
Dark Shadows was a great series. I am hoping the movie will be good.
