(Not sure if you seen my one post.) People at my fair the other night were so freaked out over the theater shooting that they complained to the police and I was kicked out of my home town fair for doing nothing wrong. My mom is saying I have problems because I told her I didn't care that they were being irrational in fearing me because I was dressed "different." I never imagined they would kick me out based only on the way I was dressed. I was reading other people's posts on this site about them being treated baddly. At first I thought it was just getting comments here and there. I hadn't realized to what extremes people thought of the goth style. It really is like people think we're crazy psychos, no exaggeration at all.
and yeah, you're right about the trashy look that girls have these days. I think girls would look way more attractive in layered goth clothes than they would in the usual revealing outfits that they wear.
Oh my goodness...you poor thing. That's horrible...And your mother was siding with them instead of being beside you? What is wrong with people. Thats just a huge shame. She's your mother, of all people. Those people are stupid as hell to get all paranoid over goths. I honestly thought I was the only one with mother issues. :/ I would say more about my issues....but I don't like talking about them. Let's just say the sole reason why I have paranoia problems and distrust of people is because I've lost trust from my own parents.
I will never forgive society for treating innocent different people like shit. How hypocritical, for adults to raise children to be themselves as a life lesson only to be rejected or harmed by their own parents and/or society themselves.
