I'm 30, but I frequently get told that I look about ten years younger. Actually, my whole family has a bit of that issue going on; my father died a week before his sixtieth birthday, and some of his AA buddies insisted he couldn't have been over forty, forty-five tops, in the casket --and his first daughter, from his second marriage, was there, and she was twenty-seven at the time.

I look 14 and I'm 18. I know it's only four years, but there is a HUGE physical difference (usually) between a 14-year-old girl and an 18-year-old one.

People I've just met (outside of college) constantly ask me how I like my "first year of high school". Pffft.

I'm 25 and people seem to think i'm in my 40's.

You don't. Must be the way you carry yourself. If you're responsible and a bit on the no-nonsense side people tend to think you're older despite what you look like.

On my 20th birthday, a friend commented that I looked "very good for [my] age" -- and when asked, revealed that she was under the impression I was 32. She attributed a lot of it to my tastes in music and general personality. A couple years later, another friend was insistent that I couldn't have been younger than 40 cos, according to him "no-one 22 and speaking with an Ameri can accent has that much respect for Marc Bolan".

Maybe it's the way I dress? My guy says I dress like a librarian. I've also been accused of acting too mature for my age group. Or because I don't have any freinds my age? They're all in the late 30's or mid 60's? Lol

I'm 15, tall, dark, have a beard. I look at least 18, as I've been offered a job at a store out of nowhere that required 18, and I was offered a drink by some drunk guy in a Mexican restaurant.

So no. Not at all.

Both of those will do it, in my experience.

I'm 14 though people think I am 12. Then I speak. And they say I'm like 20.

In January I'll turn 22, but people sometimes still think I'm a middle school student. It's kind a funny thing, when I was 14 people thought me 21 or older and when I just turned 20 people said I look like 12 or 14 at the most.

I am in my teen years, though am told I am very mature for my age. I've also been told I look about 5-10 years older... Personally, without makeup I think I look about my age, but with it I look older... I wear it whenever I can, not for this reason, but because I love it.

I'm a teenager, but I've been mistaken to be in my twenties. I look older and act older in some ways. I think it's funny when people mistake me for being older... I'm tall, and I wear whatever I feel comfortable in, normally black or dark gray in color.

I can kind of relate Im 23, but people think Im 14-17. When I was in highschool everyone thought I was like 12 lol even when I got married at 20 it also depends on my hairstyles too lol.

I'm 20 but I look like I'm about 18 according to other people.

People typically guess that I'm early to mid 30's when I'm quite a bit older than that.
Sometimes, I STILL get carded for alcohol. I take care of myself and eat as healthfully as I can so I think it has helped me stay younger-looking.
