Your Stripper Name Anagrammed

Postby Nephele » Fri Jul 08, 2011 11:27 am

A professional stripper acquaintance of mine with whom I've corresponded in the past -- Alysabeth Clements Mosley (she's also an author and, more recently, the happily married wife of a serviceman in our U.S. armed forces) -- used to have a website called "The Feminist Stripper." Here is how she described stripper names on her site:

Alysabeth WroteColonThere are color names like Rose, Emerald, Raven and Blanca, animal names like Panther and Bunny, 'good girl' names like Jenny, Emily, Sarah or Kathleen, 'bad girl' names like Poison and Sin. You can describe your personality with a name like Temper, Passion, Serenity or Joy, or go with a city, state or country, like Houston, Dallas, Georgia, Madison or Paris. There are names that make your mouth water, like Brandy and Champagne, Candy, Peaches or Toffee. Call yourself Bobby, Stevie or Frankie, and you can be sure nobody will mistake you for one of the guys. You can give yourself the name you always wanted or the one you plan to name your daughter, like Vivienne, Alyssa or Soleil, or pick a fun name like Sassy, Scandal or Bailey.

A stripper's name, contrary to popular belief, isn't always or even usually a way to hide their identity. It means that they're a member of the sorority. It is the name they have given the embodiment of their glamorous and sensual selves.

With these words in mine, I offer this new anagram names topic to anyone here who would like to participate.

As before, please give me a scramble (for privacy) of the letters of your name: First/Middle/Last. And, if you like, also: First/Last.

If you need help scrambling your letters, you can use this site.

After you give me your scramble, I'll anagram for you the stripper name that is uniquely yours.

Note to the guys here: I'm only doing feminine stripper names. So if you'd like to participate, too, be prepared to get in touch with your feminine side, as you'll be getting a feminine name. :D

demon17, I had to augment your scramble with the phrase: "I am..." Let me introduce you to your feminine side (you have to supply your own high heels ):

Shulamith Charmon Pink
= I am rhspihCot umlhnnaK

Shulamith: a name derived from the Hebrew description of the dark and beautiful seductress in the biblical "Song of Solomon."

Charmon: a name derived from the ancient Greek name "Charmion," meaning "delight."

kitten-in-a-casket, you get a couple of choices:

Nemesis LaVonna Kryztal
Kismet Zylvanna Orleans

Sulamith rembers me on a poem of Paul Celan about the Holocaust called Todesfuge. (there is an english translation on that website.)

Your golden hair Margarete,
your ash hair Sulamith. We build a grave in the air. We don't lie narrow there ...

Each stanza starts with we drinking black milk, a metaphor for death.

Well, thank you for that name Nephele. I will use for some reason, might be a poem.

Thank you for that poem, demon17. I found the English translation of "Deathfugue". That's a powerfully moving poem.

I'm amazed I was completely unfamiliar with this one. Much appreciation to you, for the introduction.

Black Milk, are you around? I'm wondering now whether you took your user name from that poem.

Yes, isn't it, Nephele? Those who read it once will never forget it.

I'm sure black milk got a different meaning in this song. I just don't understand much of the lyrics I must say, but it's very groovy and relaxing. Thank you for sharing it too.
