So, you want to set it up?
Not that I actually need another LJ community, but what the heck.

Thoughts and sharing, hmmm...
I went to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert yesterday. I was lots of fun and Flea (bassist) walked off the stage on his hands. But there were some weird people there. Flea even said "You're a little weird but we love you," to the audience. The slightly drunk guy behind me started hitting on me. Obviously didn't pick up on the age difference. The guy behind my friend lost his cell phone under her seat right EXACTLY when the lights went off so we had to feel around under her chair which was disgusting and I got beer all over my hand (which I wiped on her jeans hee hee). At least I think it was beer...
The two guys in front of us were VERY into it. They were singing along and doing this very energetic, very strange sort of dance and one of them took off his shirt when they started to play "Can't Stop." Oh dear. And my friend's dad and her sister both fell asleep despite the very loud music.
Who the hell falls asleep at an RHCP concert?
I am supposed to have school "Field Day" tomorrow. I hate field day. If it rains it will be cancelled. I am praying for downpour. Wait... prayers for rain!
*Goes off in search of Disintegration.*
Astarael- Realizes that a Gothic message board is not the greatest place to talk about RHCP.

And on another completely pointless note:
Since the last time I posted, I got accepted to McMaster University (in Hamilton, ON) and the University of Ottawa. My mom desperately wants me to go to Ottawa U, and I'm pretty sure I want to go to Concordia (in Montreal, PQ). So now I'm in a bit of a pickle. I'm sort of wishing I had got rejected from Ottawa just so she couldn't want me to go.
*scratches head* I don't know.....

It's only 9 days until my high school graduation and a few months til I leave for university.
........ I'm kind of worried ??? I chose to go to a rather conservative Christian university in Oklahoma, and I'm not sure how my whole roomate thing will work out, as the Sisters, Bauhaus, Beborn Beton and I are sure as hell not parting ways in college, and my love affairs with synth hair and corsetry will only become more prevalent..... (: Hopefully I won't get someone who will freak at the first sounds of "This Corrosion"...... :l

They were supposed to come here two years ago, but they turned chicken. I don't like they're music anyway (except for Otherside), it was my friend who bought the ticket.

I just got through looking of pictures of someone's stillborn kid. Not for thrills, I work in Labor and Delivery. It always annoys me when people say death looks like sleep.
"Oh, it looks just like he's sleeping!"
Death doesn't look like sleep, dead looks dead.

Between playing the outfield yesterday, Time Crisising it up at the movies last night, then playing outfield again today, I completely threw out my right arm.

I now have a net connection at home!! This means that you guys get to put up with me posting at night time and during weekends. Although this should be marginally balanced out by me being around less during the daylight hours.
It may only be a dial-up connection, but it's mine. All mine!!
Doth, does the happy dance (while waiting for the next page to load) (:

Go Doth. Well so far so good on my exam front, I have a week and 3 days till my next one and the last one is the day after so eeep. Goth.net LJ would scare most people, 600 people with random wierdness on the one LJ would be horrific for most. Hell of a laugh though.

I have a huge Math test this Sunday, about everything since grade 1. Math has been one of my strongest subjects all my life, but now I can't do a thing and I'm afraid I'll fail the test
I need a miracle.

Opening night for "The King and I" was last night. As a lot of you know, I play a whip wielding Amazon in the play (type cast, I know).
Last night was FUCKING AMAZING. The whole play went off seamlessly, and the scene where I'm featured was so energetic that everyone felt they were on fire when they exited the stage.
Last night was a good night.

Thanks to everyone who wished me luck
Well, a miracle happened. In the test I had to do 6 questions within 3 hours. After an hour I did only one question and got really nervous, but in the end I did it. I'm so proud of my self

Okay I have advice for you here from experience. Do what you think is best for you. Your parents mean well but they can't make the big decisions for you. I know. I let my parents choose my University and the course. I ended up a few years later deciding to take control of my life and that led me to dropping the University and moving 1000kms away (which they were obviously not happy about). The first real decision I have ever made. I am now blissfully in love and happy at where my life is heading. Don't do something that you may regret later. They might get upset, my Father still tells me I'm a dissappointment to him but it doesn't matter. Take control of your life now and you will be better off for it later on. At least if it doesn't work out you know it was your decision and it was a learning experience.
