Was at work today, and one of the telecommuters was in for the day. Oh what a way to light up that stuck up neurotic environment, a nerd! yes phasers on full flaming nerd :). Somehow I feel more at peace in the presence of certain groups and nerds are one, I'm a bit of a geek goth anyway and nerds are somewhat apart from mainstream society too so yeah, long live the nerd. :D

What makes me happy? Let's see....

Puppies make me happy. Uhm, my new choker. My new clothes. The fact that I now have a T.V. in my room. And.....that's about all at the moment.

Hmm, on top of my mind, they would be:

-Gaki no Tsukai; I can't help but enjoy watching the episodes especially the New Year Batsu games
-My family and close friends, of course.
-My small collection of artbooks, music CDs and seashells. I just LOVE to collecting things, haha.

Normally I'd mention drawing too, but lately I haven't had the same 'zealous' passion for it. Ah, maybe I'm just whining again Oh dear

My big black beautiful leather trenchcoat. That beautiful coat that separates the random guys wearing black from the gothic ones. :b

what made me happy right now is the anual burning of our snowman, the Böögg, took it 12 minutes till the neck exploded, it's going to be a good summer.
This event always makes me happy :)

Officially got my tickets to go see my parents in May. I'll miss them this summer as I have no time off, so looking forward to time together next month! :D

A good story, and a chance to listen to the creation myth of the Order.
Also philosophical discussions with my friend

Post Re: Happy thread is happy.
Back from vacation at my parents. All this makes me happy. Being in that 200 year old farm, surrounded by Victorian era items mixed randomly with modern items. Moms vacuum is 70 years old (didn't think they made them back then). I even love the sight of the outhouse, albeit the 1890 approx box stove that they use to heat the house is a more happy sight. The sound and smell of the wood heat. In their own way the smell of diesel and animal poo smells like home. The reminders of the involvement over the years with the management of a local cemetery, little things like the Death plate of my grandpas coffin kept simply above a doorway upstairs. All the yard buildings seem so Decrepit and ancient, but they always seem to have even from when I was growing up. And all this surrounded by wooded areas. There's a lot more but I need to stop somewhere. That quiet, gentle place will always be a home to me.
