OK, I was inspired by the "scary hometown" thread, but then I remembered that there's more about Lansing that's just weird or funny, and honestly, I don't think I'm able to gauge "scary" or even "spooky" any-more.

So here's my latest contribution --this is from the local (not a national chain) green grocer in town, Horrocks (there's only two stores --one here and one in Battle Creek). Yes, this is from their recently-rennovated wine section. I took it just a few hours ago.


And also somebody just barely in the city limits has The Blues Brothers in their front garden (previously posted in the other thread).

Not quite funny BUT...

My home town is near alledged killer Malcom Naden's (Dubbo NSW).
There's also a girl in my hometown with the surname Naden.
And I now live not far from where Naden was caught after 7 years on the run... I think he's following me

Is it strange I find that funny rather than scary seeings the guy alledgedly raped and murdered members of his family?... o.o

Depends on which members. And, as the great George Carlin one said, whether or not he did it in a Porky Pig voice.

a bumper sticker I saw recently

and as a fan of The Dead Milkmen, I might find this funnier than most other people might. (hint)

I saw a bumper sticker that said, "Don't care what people think; they don't do it very often." I quite love that!
