Any fans of Draconian here, and what do you think of the new direction their music is going?

I have only heard a few of their songs (recently introduced by a friend). I like what I've heard so far, but as for direction, etc...I haven't heard enough to answer that.

I once managed to start up on a band with a bad song, spoilt a great music experience for a long time.
I'll have a listen to them songs, thanks!

When it comes to newer bands, they come the closest to the British "Peaceville 3" (My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Anathema) sound that defined the gothic doom/death metal genre.
Therefore, I can't help but be charmed by them. ;)

The first two Draconian albums are marvelous and masterpieces, they are more modern in their latest release, more like pop-metal instead of gothic material.
