Re: Draconian I have only heard a few of their songs (recently introduced by a friend). I like what I've heard so far, but as for direction, etc...I haven't heard enough to answer that.

Re: Draconian When it comes to newer bands, they come the closest to the British "Peaceville 3" (My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Anathema) sound that defined the gothic doom/death metal genre.

Re: Draconian The first two Draconian albums are marvelous and masterpieces, they are more modern in their latest release, more like pop-metal instead of gothic material.
