Last post of the previous page :

Been wanting some new music on my iPhone, so I treated myself to some downloads:

The Horrors - "Strange House"
Avenged Sevenfold - "Nightmare"
Escape the Fate - "Escape the Fate"

Also, got the new Evanescence offering. I know they really aren't goth, but I've always liked their sound.

HOH/Current 93 - Island

..... I was unprepared for how good this album actually is.
When combing through C93's immense discography, I tended to skip over their splits and collaborations, which was a grave mistake with this one.

This album is truly brilliant, and some of the best later work David Tibet's ever done.....

Zoviet France - What is not True

....... one of their most minimal, and most powerful albums.

Made in Germany - Rammstein

Its basically a 2 disc greatest hits album. Disc one has all their greatest hits + Mein Land (their newest song) and disc 2 has remixes that other artists has done with their songs.

I havn't heard it yet, but I'm about to stick it on my ipod and give it a go (and I bought it on hard copy, as I tend to do with my Megadeth albums).

Hatesex - "A savage cabaret, she said"
I enjoyed it, though I much prefer their previous album "Unwant".
Had actually assumed the band had split up until I stumbled on this album (I think the last album was released 6/7 years ago, this was released in 2011).

Really enjoyed both of those albums.
I also bought :

Atari Teenage Riot - "is this hyperreal?"
Moth Complex - "Moth Complex"
Which I'm undecided on, currently.

Oh, I've got to get Riding the Black Unicorn! It's full of interesting songs, plus 'Innocent' makes me cry my eyes out.
But: I bought
Sopor Aeternus: Les Fleurs du Mal
It's really something that I rarely listen to, but as it's kinda like a gift to both myself and my best friend I have listened to it for a few days. Anna Varney has a voice that gives me the shivers. In my opinion, 'Shave If You Love Me' is the best track.
