I'm guessing because it costs too much to get away...and finding a place with a similar culture, and maybe a similar climate. From what I've heard, Australia is closest to culture to Canada...but when it comes to climate, I'm sure that Canada would kill any Aussie.

It's also been stated that the Earth is in the arse-end of the galaxy. Can't imagine someone suggesting we all leave just because it's been called that. :p

Canada would be my second choice to live. My comments were because I am returning home next week after five years exile in Pommie land and I was feelin' all territorial LOL Sorry to go off topic 'Productofashatteredyouth' but I think when one leaves home for a while they appreciate its finer points more. (The grass definitely ain't greener, not enough Sun!)
