No one understands Spanish here, but they are very famous here and had great influence of EBM in Germany. Other good "driving around on an empty highway at night" mood songs I've found are Michael Hutchence's cover of Iggy Pop's "The Passenger" from the Batman Forever soundtrack or Rob Dougan's phenomenal "I'm Not Driving Anymore".
