Saw this on Deathrock.Com and sharing it here. This is from their new Electric Ballroom album that's coming out. The track is called Lilacs: http://www.yousendit.com/transfe....6D551FC

Unfortunately I don't have another link as I'm not the one who uploaded the song. I suppose you might be able to hunt it down through a file sharing programs.

I'll look for it, I asked not out of lazyness but I rather stream a song I never heard first to see if I like it.

Jesus Sliced!!

New Specimen?? Never thought that would happen. Wouldn`t that make their debut full-length 26 years after their initial inception??(although I consider their Wet Warm Clingfilm.... compilation a full-length album in itself)

I wonder how it will sound? I actually wasn`t all that impressed by their other stuff, save a song or two. Too much upbeat, normal-sounding rock n roll for me.

I actually got the track before the link died, and you're not going really going to get anything different from what you just described. I'm not all that impressed by this either.

Good goth ;) I am glad to see Specimen still working at least. I am though disappointed the link did not work. But yes, I do wonder if the styles have differed, etc...I do know Slut and Wisdom will be making guest apperences.

We'll have to see what the full album sounds like. So far this sounds like Specimen, but not really their best song in my opinion.

I just bought the CD a couple days ago. Haven't yet listened to it, but once I do, I'll post a review. :)

Does anyone have info for who`s in the new line-up???

I take it Ollie Wisdom and Johnny Melton are NOT full-time members any longer?? Who`s left??

I got my hands on the full album. It's not bad, but I don't care much for the remixes.

Thanks for the link, also.
I usually don`t like remixes period, unless it`s got the creativity of Haujobb, or something like Sopor Aeternus rewriting/rerecording their own songs.

Anyways, I`ll pick up the new Specimen out of curiosity`s sake, and the fact their catchy.
Specimen sound more glam/punk than goth to me, however.

Bought the cd when it came out, and I think it's pretty damn good. Hope this isn't the last we hear from them, would be shame..
