Absolutely! I saaw them live in 2009. I only wish I had seen them all those other years they were on tour. Oh well, at least they're still going strong. That's one thing I love about them: they keep making music no matter what!

I particularly like the energy in their music, I always feel pumped after listening to it.

Seeing them live would have been amazing!

What are some of your favourite songs? I like Wrath and Today.

I like Blood, Godlike, and Looking for Strange among many others. But what's with the story at the end of the song Wrath?!

I love KMFDM! I have never seen them, but Pandora introduced us a couple years back. I love Dogma, Looking for Strange, I Am What I Am and Free Your Hate.

I'm a huge KMFDM fan. If I had to choose a favorite song, it would be Anarchy. I have quite a few of their albums. Can't wait for them to release a new one. :)

I like them. I've always been into industrial. Rammstein, megaherz, eisbrecher, KMFDM are among my favorite industrial bands. I agree with firensia, anarchy is probably my favorite kmfdm song.

Extremely catchy and danceable while they do know how to write a cool riff...... but that's about all it is.

I like them, they're all right, but my taste in industrial is usually of the old school variety: SPK, Throbbing Gristle, Coil, Einsturzende Neubauten, Skinny Puppy, Cabaret Voltaire, Sleep Chamber, Die Form and other more dark/experimental varieties.

KMFDM came more from the German techno scene before they started adding industrial metal elements.

Sorry Tech9, what I was saying regarding the song Wrath is it's only about 5 mins long, but on youtube there is a 10 minute version which has Sascha (I'm guessing it's him) telling a story about a bum and a fairy for the last 5 minutes of it.

That's not correct.
KMFDM was an avant-garde experimental project at first, much in the vain of Throbbing Gristle. The percussion in their first performance was provided by Polish coal miners. This was 1984. Techno had only been created 1 year before this, and on a different continent across an ocean. I'd can't say with confidence Techno did not exist in Germany yet, but Techno was definitely still in its mewling infancy when KMFDM was formed. My music history textbook gives 1987 as the year House and Techno "hit it big" in Britain, but to be fair that could mean anything. I've never heard KMFDM's first album, but their second album which was released in 1986 definitely is a lot more Skinny Puppy than it is Cybotron or any of the other early names of Techno.
So, the earliest KMFDM was pretty avant-garde Industrial and their early albums Industrial & Synthpop. I don't think KMFDM and Techno have ever been related at all.
