 Sports Forum
I know goths are not generally known for their love of sports, but I think that we should have a sports forum here on Gnet.
Sometimes I want to create a thread about the upcoming Olympics, the NBA finals, or the EuroCup, and I am hesitant to do so in the general discussion forum. I think that if I did, it might get lost in the shuffle and fall behind. I might be wrong, but I'm sure there are at least a few users who might want to post about sports every now and then.
But if the desire is not there to create a sports forum, that's fine.

 Re: Sports Forum
I honestly can't see there being enough interest in sport to warrant it's own forum, and while I don't think anyone would have a problem with sports topics started in the General section (I'm almost certain there have been some in the past) I don't think we'd like it flooded with threads on each and every sporting event that occurs, so perhaps one umbrella thread for all sport might be best, or possibly one for each sport to be discussed, I'm not totally sure on that last point really.

 Re: Sports Forum
I would think just a general Sports thread would be enough. Quite a few people are interested in the Olympics, and this would give them a place to post. That way, if others aren't interested, they can just skip it.

 Re: Sports Forum
Oh yeah, I meant thread. Whoops...I'm bad at telling the difference between the words thread, forum, and message board.
