Yay! I've been gone a while and my profile is still around!

 Yay! I've been gone a while and my profile is still around! I've been coming and going from goth.net for many years, and whenever I come back my profile is inevitably gone. I've grown used to starting a new profile each time, and I was pleasantly surprised it didn't happen this time!
Have the rules changed regarding inactive profiles? Or was I just not gone as long this time?
