Outage of the 19th Nov, 2005

 I'm sure many of you noticed that starting on the 18th, and through the 19th the forums, and indeed, much of GOTH.NET has been down.
GOTH.NET was having problems booting due to a software error I have since fixed (thanks to the help of the good people at GOTH.NET's co-lo provider). The initial reboot I did myself, however I did not expect GOTH.NET to be down for so long. The main effect of this is some mail will be delayed in delivery (no mail will be lost), and of course, the forums were offline. I apologise for the downtime, but know that I've been working on this since the beginning, and its just unfortunate it took a day and a half to get everything back to 100% to the point I could feel comfortable re-starting the forums and mail. No need to apologise. This site has been taking a good amount of your time for the past almost 4 years now? We owe you nothing but thanks for you and Lilith giving us this place and keeping it up the good standards.

Likewise...there's not need to apologize. I've been a member forwell over a year, and this is the first outage I've noticed, giving goth.net a *much* better track record than other forums I have been a member of.
