Post Re: ~Online Store Reviews~
I had that problem with IpsoFacto.com, too. This was last summer.

I placed my order, they declined my card, had me pay with a money order, several weeks later they sent me a letter saying that they didn't have the items I ordered in stock and they wouldn't give me a refund or my exact amount in store credit.

They claimed I sent them almost $30 less then what the money order was for!! I had my money order receipt and called and spoke to a manager and they were rude! After a while of trying to work out how I was going to get my money back and them refusing to send back the money order, I threatened to take them to small claims court. They hung up on me.

I mailed them a copy of my money order receipt. Two weeks went by and I kept calling them and they would hang up on me once I gave them my name. By the third week, they told me to stop calling and sent me my money order back.

Never ordering from there again.

They finally told me they entered my CVC no wrong, but I was like, uh, what's the point? You don't have what I wanted! (I'm desperately hunting down the pink and black stripped lolita stuff from whoeveritwas...)

Store review: TUK online shop
Ordered: punk print heels
Shipping time: about a week
Shipping costs: over-priced
Experience: 3/5

Shoes are super cute, but run really, really, really small. I wear an 8.5, so ordered a 9 (which usually works) way too tight. Still waiting to hear about their exchange policy (not listed on the site, and haven't responded in two days). If they respond, I may change my rating. Shoes are great, but be warned they run super small, so order a size or two larger than you usually do.

I just recently gave PunkBulletBelts.com a try, ordered linked 223's [nickle plated w/ black links] since I wanted something not quite as big & bulky as my 953's. Didn't know from their site whether the rounds would be inert or live [I'd wear it either way so it wasn't a deciding factor in the purchase]. Ones that arrived had used primers [indented from being struck]. Price shipped was aprox what a 100-count box of linked live 223s go for at your local gunshop, however those are brass-colored rounds w/grey or green links. I don't know of an easy & cheap source of live nickle plated casings w/silver colored bullets w/black links, plus with these being apparently inert someone had to sit there and piece them together so I think the price is cheap for what you get.

I wish I could find a place selling my ordered configuration only with green, orange, or red tipped rounds [different types of tracers are distinguished by the color however if you order them live they come brass colored casings & bullets].

I ordered friday, got them the following Monday. Super FAST. Probably wouldn't sell to customers outside the US. I wouldn't want to try to get these threw customs.

They wouldn't be live, they can't legally sell live ammunition as a fashion accessory. o.O Rounds used for bullet belts are deactivated, therefore not dangerous.

Website: Victorian Trading Company
Item purchased: Grotto Display Box
They aren't the fastest shippers in the world, but they're good about sending e-mails when they've received an order, and again when the order ships.

I received my package, and the item was packed inside and out with bubble wrap, and survived shipping nicely. It looks fantastic on my console table, and now holds this figurine.

I'm very happy with my purchase. This site has a lot of unusual items.

There's nothing over here that would make it illegal to sell linked rounds [live] to someone who intends to use them as a fashion accessory. If someone wanted to they could walk right into a gunshow, buy a 100ct box of 223s and wear them out the door [I don't think it happens often though]. I think people are more cautious about it online because there is more of a papertrail if someone hurts themselves with it. If you're getting them at a flea-market like show and hurt yourself unless you have a recept you probably have no way of tracking down the person who sold them to you.

Here, in Canada, you need to have a firearms license to even get ammunition (as I know, from when my boyfriend has purchased ammunition). I also know that, whenever I have seen bullet belts for sale, they were always deactivated rounds. I think it'd be a safety thing in general, as well as lack of gun powder (as well as whatever else goes into live rounds) probably making the belt somewhat lighter, and somewhat nicer to wear.

Post Re: ~Online Store Reviews~
Okay, been too long to edit but thought I would update my feedback.

Store review: TUK online shop
Ordered: punk print heels
Shipping time: about a week
Shipping costs: over-priced (I spent $9 bucks for shipping with insurance, and they charged me over $20).
Experience: 4/5

Shoes are super cute, but run really, really, really small. I wear an 8.5, so ordered a 9 (which usually works) way too tight. Shoes are great, but be warned they run super small, so order a size or two larger than you usually do.

Edit: They were quite terse (though not rude) about the exchange policy, but they linked me to it. I received no confirmation from them that they had received the shoes back. The only notice I got for return shipping was an email saying my return status had been updated. It took quite some time for them to process the return. They did answer promptly when I inquired about the status. The exchange still hasn't arrived yet, but here's to hoping these work out. FYI You pay return shipping to them, and they don't charge you to ship it back to you, which is awesome.

I gave them a 4/5 for terseness, lack of communication, and the fact the shoes run really darn small. I would order from them again, however.

Interesting store review post......which is not entirely goth related. :P

Store review: http://www.fancyfairy.com/
Ordered: Teasel wings in custom pink and silver
Shipping time: around 3 weeks (est shipping was 10-12 days for made-to-order wings)
Shipping costs: fair
Experience: 4/5

The wings are gorgeous. The seller didn't contact me about the wait times until I contacted her, about two weeks after I ordered. She apologized, said she was backlogged, and asked me when I needed them by. At the time, I had no rush so I just said by June. Well, I ended up needing them earlier, and she had them shipped out to me within a few days of asking for them. I still can't figure out how to tie the little plastic supports on, but I will. I would definitely recommend. They're cute and fun.

And weird review #2 (more goth-related, since you can buy horns and things here)

Store review: http://www.aradanicostumes.com/
Ordered: painted ear tips, spirit gum and remover, Arwen reproduction necklace
Shipping time: 2-3 days
Shipping costs: fair
Experience: 5/5

I haven't worked with the latex ears at all yet, but they're cute. A little dusty, but cute. I would order again. They have some super neat props and costume pieces here. Would order again.

Store Review: Ebay seller punkemon129
Ordered: Layered Black Gothic Long Skirt
Shipping Time: About five days
Shipping cost: fair ($5.50)
Experience: 5/5

Super awesome tattered skirt with black lace. It's just awesome. Simple as that. This was my first ebay purchase in awhile, so I'm glad it turned out alright. :)

Store Review: T.U.K. shoes
Ordered: Black 5-Buckle Super High Platform Heel
Shipping Time: About a week
Shipping Cost: FedEx ground, the cheapest at about $11
Experience: 4/5

Yes folks, you get not one, not two, but THREE T.U.K. shoe all in the convenience of one page!

I've been wanting a pair of chunky shoes that weren't boots for awhile, and you might (meaning that you don't) remember that I once ordered a pair of five-inch heel Demonia shoes. They didn't work out because the sizing was too big, and at the time I didn't have the confidence to wear five-inch heels, so I sent them back. Well now, I tested my confidence once more with these cuties, which were on clearance sale. This was quite the gamble, since shopping for shoes online is risky business due to sizing, and that there was only one size left, a 10. Ordering a 10 was my mistake with Demonia, but I do have one other pair of T.U.K. shoes that I got from Hot Topic that are also a size 10, but they also have 4 1/2 inch heel, and they fit just fine. I decided to just take the chance, since they were on clearance, and even if the didn't fit, I could always swap them with somebody on here.

At first, ordering was kinda annoying because the shipping section wouldn't load properly at first, so I had to refresh a couple of times. It came in the expected time span, and - ohmigod! They fit!! In fact, even though they're five inches, they actually feel quite comfortable, even more comfortable than the 4 1/2 inch platforms boots that I've had for years. Mind you, T.U.K. shoes don't have outstanding quality: the buckles on these babes were quite annoying to adjust (to the point where my nail cuticles drew blood when I was trying to slip them out), but luckily I can slide my feet in and out without having to unbuckle them all over again.

All in all, I can't wait to wear these with many more outfits!

Store Review: Retroscope Fashions
Ordered: Asymmetrical Waterfall Ruffle Skirt
Shipping Time: Around five to six days
Shipping Cost: From Nevada to Michigan, about $10
Experience: 5/5

It should be clear by now that I have a thing for tattered skirts.
I'm building up my black forest mori girl look.

So this is my first time buying from Retroscope Fashions online instead of at their booth. I was hoping to get this skirt at the next World Steam Expo, but sadly they won't be coming back, since they just couldn't bear the drive from Nevada to Michigan. :( I went by the sizing with the last skirt I bought from them, and despite my self-esteem as of recently, I was confident enough with my shape and weight that I would be able to fit in the size. So you can guess how happy I was that I was able to fit into this skirt. :)

Even though it looks quite formal, I feel that if I really wanted to, I can get away with wearing this in a casual setting. It's just so flouncy and fun. ^.^

Well worth the money.

Store review: http://www.forever21.com/
Ordered: Peplum Ponte Jacket, Mesh Maxi Dress, Engraved Cuff Bracelet (I just threw this in to get free shipping)
Shipping time: 7-8 days
Shipping cost: As stated above
Experience: 5/5

Not much to say about Forever 21, since I order from their online store often.

I will talk about the clothes though. I like the jacket the most so far, but that's probably because it's the only one I've worn yet. I was drawn to buying this jacket after getting the idea from several of Victorian Kitty's outfit posts, especially this one. I did my own variation, and my outfit came out quite cute if I do say so myself (especially with the shoes I had just bought). The lace dress has a lot of potential, and I recently bought some basic stretch shorts to go under it with a camisole. Now I just have to wait until suitable weather.

Most disappointing was the bangle. It doesn't tighten enough and it falls around the wrist too quickly. But then again, I only bought it so I could get free ship. :/

Store review: http://shop.daisyviktoria.com/
Ordered: Custom Ophelia Underbust Corset, Runway Sample Underbust Corset
Shipping time: 3 days once shipped, plus 2 weeks to produce the custom corset
Shipping cost: about $14
Experience: 5/5

I love my new corsets and would definitely order from Daisy Viktoria again! I ordered the custom Ophelia Underbust Corset in alternating black satin and black and white striped satin. I got the double boning, waist tape, and modesty panel with mine. This corset fits like a glove! The craftsmanship is very high quality, and the price is amazing for this type of quality. Daisy herself communicated with me about my measurements to make sure everything was right before she started making it, and she did a wonderful job! And it only took her 2 weeks to complete it, which is a very fast turnaround for a custom corset.

I was lucky enough to be the right size to purchase a used runway sample corset as well. It was discounted because Daisy has used it in runway shows in the past, so other models have worn it. What a deal! The corset was still in great shape, and it is still able to mold to my body as I break it in. This one is black satin with black lace on top, and it's just so beautiful!
