Anyone on this board live in Perth?
Stupid isolated little city...I need to find other people who live here because I'll be damned if I'm going underground clubbing on my own. I used to know a few people on another local messageboard but fell out of contact, and none of my friends are into the darker side of clubbing.

Oh my god i have someone to talk to YAY! I was beginning to think i was the only goth this side of the equator. Imagine Rockingham....i will be moving to Bertram in the later part of this year. Well it's nice to meet you foxvectra. in regard to the clothing issue, maybe Into Camelot (if you like romatic gear) in Fremantle, there is also a place at the E-shed markets very similar to that. In Perth there is (was) a place called Elusian Empire. I went there quite a few years ago...don't know if they're still running, great for leather , bondage products,etc. Hope i could help.

I think you mean Alysian Empire, who sadly are no longer operating- I loved the shop and have tonnes of their stuff. Yes, I am also a Perth Goth...
There are a few little places here and there, but no-one solely goth, so I have resorted to making most of my own clothes!!
As for the clubbing scene- I've just heard about a place called Sin- a late night absinthe bar, which I intend visiting sometime in the near future!!

This sounds strange, but try some of the XXX shops... They sometimes have really great PVC stuff... or try down Murray St in the city at some of the little 'witchy' stores. For collars, wristbands etc, try Joint Venture, View Factory or possibly even Loot...

sorry i've been away. thankyou princess of darkness for correcting me. it's a shame that they've closed, there again it was very quiet the last time that i was there (all those years ago). by the way, where is sin? it sounds interesting. in response to another question, for now i'm in yangebup(near adventure world if you don't know where yangebup is) but as i said will be moving to bertram (near kwinana...urgh) later on in the year. a meetup sounds good but when & where as i don't have a very flexible timetable. i'll have to have a look in joynt venture now for that ring now that you've mentioned it foxvectra (can i call you fox?)

Sin- every Saturday night 45 Murray Street. Oh, and the ad says $5 entry then lists the music they play... and I'm with foxvectra- their rings are superb!! And we absolutely should do the meetup thing!! I also forgot to mention the Subi Markets- they sometimes have great stuff, its just a case of looking really hard. And possible Wanneroo Markets, although I haven't been up there for a while, so I can't confirm that... :p
If you're looking for jewellery, I'd also suggest checking out Sparkles (2 stores in the city! William St and the mall outside Target, on the train station side) and Mystic Vision in the Plaza arcade...
