Hi Foxvectra- long time no chat!!! Hows things???

January 2nd?? I'll probably still be recovering from the vast quantities of alcohol I'll be consuming on New Years Eve... I can organise pretty much any day to do this... but not the 2nd!!!

-Princess Of Darkness-
*who has a HUGE party to go to on New Years Eve, that probably won't finish till the 4th or the 5th

I've never 'eard of it, so let me now too, I take it its a clothes shop perhaps?

You could just walk from one end of murray street to the other end and then back on the other side and look for it. Good exercise.

Maybe the third of January instead then? ;) It will be a public holiday because the New Year falls on a Saturday. :) Is a day enough time to recover from being extremely enebriated due to an over-abundance of alcohol? :P I only thought of that reason you stated for not having it on the 2nd of January, well after i'd posted the last post...being hung-over and all would be a bad.

Btw, I went to Red Stripe today, it was nice and all, the girl there was nice and I noticed some teez that they were selling I actually printed at my work! lol Bad thing for me is: 75% of their stock is for females, so, not much for me there atm. (I went on a day where they had nearly-nothing for us guys...apparently.)

What is an absurd price to you for a pair of leather boots that have two zips on each, and go 1/2 the way to your knee in height? Do you think $250 is too-much? *whispers*I DO!

Well, I don't know if I'll be getting drunk yet or not. I've never been drunk. But some friends of mine want to hold a day in honour of getting me pissed.

As I said before, any day is good for me.

It's no harm going for a look-see at Red Stripe even if it is out of your price-range.

Hey, there is 'drunk' and then there's 'nicely-toasted'. (Tipsy)
I choose these days the latter. Then there are no ill-feelings the following morning. :) In any way at all. After you turn 22 or there-abouts, you grow up some more and don't do the 'get drunk' thing. You can drink and have a good time without vomiting, staggering, fighting, et cetera. :)

I think Murray Street is a little too long a walk for my liking.
But I believe the address to be 45 Murray Street. It is a late night absinth bar. Plays 80's, EBM, Goth etc. Only open on Saturdays.
Looking forward to it

Andrew:
SIN is 45 Murray St... I literally walked in the door, then walked back out again... But thats me :) Oh, and welcome :D Enjoy your stay...
Scrat:
I'm a chick :) when it comes to shoes in particular, prices have never bothered me... but yes- $250 does seem a tad extreme when you consider my knee highs only cost me $250, and that was after I paid to have the stripes on them repainted...
the mountebank:
I can neither encourage or discourage underage binge drinker- I used to do it, and have done some silly and regretful things...
These days I drink in moderation, except for New Years Eve when my bestest girly friend in the world is having a huge party and we've got 3 days to ourselves- something that hasn't happened for YEARS... plus its going to be the longest I have been without my son since he was born, and so we're making it an occasion to remember!!!

And the 3rd sounds much better... where do we think would be a good place people??

Somewhere in Perth would be ideal.

I have no idea.

What about Freo Foreshore? Or even King's Park as someone else suggested. Perhaps somewhere public, but not too-public.

Well yeah, I suggest kings park earlier but if you're not wanting too public, you'd have to specify which area of kings park because...well...most of it is pretty public.

All I meant about not being too-public was, let's not meet up in say, forest chase or somewhere like that, you-know? I truly have no-idea where to go, let's just all take a vote on where we'd like to have the Goth.net - Perth Gathering, those who are interested in it of course. ;) If we met up in Perth CBD somewhere, we could have lunch/movie whatever we may feel like, but at King's Park, I am not sure if there is a bus back to the city from there...or to there for that matter.....I'll check it out tomorrow to be sure hey. :)Especially for on a sunday, or Public Holiday! The buses seldom run on Sundays/public holidays and the trains run sporadically on Sundays & public holidays so it would be difficult to get to/from King's Park for those of us without cars (such as myself.) But the atmosphere there would be a good place to catch up in though...aaargh, this is so melancholy...hehehe

Well there is a free bus to and from the city to kings park, I know that much at least. I think it would run on a sunday but just not as often.

Went there on Saturday but didn't go in. Didn't like the vibe of the place. It was downstairs at some dance studio.
Oh yes I have enjoyed my stay in Australia so far, might come back next year.

Alcohol is overated but try it & get sick. Then you'll not wonder about it anymore. There is a greater evil you should worry about - seductive eye's & soft lips of a woman.
Cheers
