I have not been able to get into the chat room for the last 2 months (much to everyones relief ) and it's because java refuses to recognise it, I have the latest version, and it works with everything else, but with here it not only doesn't work, it also crashes my browser :S

I have a hard time getting the JAVA-client to load properly on my computer at work. Maybe it could be limited by the permissions on the account you use when you log into Windows? I am just user on my computer at work, and there, it doesn't work. But at home, where I am administrator, it works fine.

While I can offer no real sollution but just speculations, I'd recomend you get a real IRC-client. mIRC is a good one for Windows, but ofcourse there are others.

If you are uncertain on how to install and configure an IRC-client and want help setting it up, feel free to add me on MSN or email me, and I will walk you through it. No problemas!

Ok, irc seems to work fine, but I can't find my way to the goth.net chat room

You need to add the server, which is irc.darker.net and the channel is #net.goth (/j #net.goth)

I figured it out and joined the chat! Whoo!

Now everyone can stop making fun of my pathetic chatting abilities.

Make that two of us. After a bit of futzing around, I figured it out. Unfortunately, it's 10:30 AM EST, and nobody's chatting. Anyway, I'll give it another go tonight.

Are you sure you were in the right one? I've been going to the one with @PreZ and SC hanging around, they just weren't actually online.

FYI, I fixed the java chat client. It was broken (kind of), but its fixed now.

I am always online @ IRC, not always looking at the acctual window though. If you want to reach me there, just PM me.
