People say, "Oh, you're doing your hair like that girl from NCIS? How cute!" And you say, "Huh?" o_O "What's NCIS?" O_o (This used to happen to me at work a LOT and I still hate it! I never knew what NCIS was until people started asking inane questions. It didn't help that I worked in a photolab and wore a labcoat -_-)

You can tell what type of mood they're in based on whether they're listening to Rammstein, SOM, Christian Death, Joy Division or Skinny Puppy.

You know precisely what they love about the bands they listen to and which album from each band is their favorite.

You know from their combination of leather/fishnet/stripey/spikes/bondage/neon whether it's a dressed 'up' or 'down' occasion.

Damn. Thought I was the only one who did that.

You know you're goth if...

Whenever you buy collars for your dog, they somehow always end up in your jewelry box..

You know everyone at your local funeral parlor on a first name basis.

...people you pass by say prayers as you pass.
...you keep naming people in your short stories things like 'Morthraid' and 'Xantippa'.
...are surprised when non goths know what goth is...
...and still deny that you're goth when they ask.
