Is it rather bitter?

 Re: Coffee, Tea or Me?
I wouldn't say bitter but definitely smoky.

 Re: Coffee, Tea or Me?
I've just found a new favorite tea supplier. For reference, I'm primarily a fan of Chinese greens, and I can also appreciate Japanese greens. Black teas aren't really my thing. Zhena's Gypsy Tea has an "Opus" line of higher-end looseleaf. And my god, it's some good stuff. I like it better than anything I've gotten from the Republic of Tea, Numi, or Stash. Their "Imperial grade" dragonwell is magnificent. Dragonwell is my favorite variety of green tea, and this is without question the best I've ever tasted. And the jasmine pearls? Man, I could just sit there and sniff that tin all afternoon long (my boss might object, though). And on a plus side, it's all organic and fair trade. But it's definitely not something where you're accepting inferior product or a grossly inflated price tag for those things. The one downside is that they don't have a huge variety. Three Japanese greens, four Chinese greens, and one Vietnamese green. http://www.gypsytea.com/Opus-Green-Teas-C94.aspx

 Re: Coffee, Tea or Me?
I love pearl tea (also known as bubble tea or tapioca tea). I usually get it with some kind of fruit flavor like coconut or strawberry. You will definitely need to be in a metropolitan area with a considerable Asian population to find it though.
As for coffee I usually get a frozen latte (preferrably the kind prepared in a blender). I generally prefer independant businesses when I get coffee. Starbucks is gross and I oppose their trade policies.

I'm a chai addict, myself, with honey & milk, iced or hot. We also go through a lot of Thai tea in the house during the summer.

 Re: Coffee, Tea or Me?
I tried this once just because my husband brought his work home with him. One IV French Roast Coffee and one IV with milk and sugar. take needles off of both IV's and stick tubes in mouth. Then have Husband hold IV's above your head and lay down for a nice sipping of coffee love My husband is a Biomedical engineer. He thought the IV's would make a cool looking centerpiece for Holloween this year but I had better plans lol. Oh yeah, if you choose to do this, please make sure your coffee is not hot or the IV bag will burst.

I'll go for tea! Because I know that green tea is a type of tea made solely with the leaves of Camellia sinensis, that has undergone minimal oxidation during processing. _________________ Best Diet Pills

I seem to go in phases...one minute I love coffee and the next I love tea...at the moment it's tea, any kind, black, green, herbal...not too fussed as long as it's not Lapsang Soochong (or however it's spelt) I think it's vile and smells and tastes like yacht varnish

 Re: Coffee, Tea or Me?
I am more of a coffee lover. But there are times when coffee just isn't the thing. Sometimes tea is more my thing, but shh, do not tell my friends. When I drink tea, it's mostly Earl Grey, call me boring, but why would I change a concept that is working great for me. COffee is the same thing, just plain black coffee is the best. Of course I like some fancy coffees too. Like Mochas and Espressos, but nothing beats the first cup of coffee in the morning.

 Re: Coffee, Tea or Me?
i made some interesting tea today made of wood sorrel and some sugar. it has a wicked green tint and smells something awful but tastes quite good. i made my own a tad weak but it has a bit of a lemony taste to it and if you live in the Midwest of the US you can go pick your own

 Re: Coffee, Tea or Me?
Hi, I just tried 'red tea' (rooibos) and I'm hooked. A full bodied caffeine and tannin free beverage.

LS, agreed. Rooibos is amazing! Although, I do love my caffeine. *sigh*

 Re: Coffee, Tea or Me?
I'm not complicated, I like either columbian or french roasted coffees. With plenty of cream and sugar. There's this wonderful little coffee place that make a triple vanilla Irish cream cold coffe that is to DIE for!
One of my friends and I used to have tea sometimes sweetened with honey or juice.

I like both. Black coffee and green tea. My favorite - and no sugar, please
