 Earworm Thread!
I know at least a couple of us have those certain songs stuck in our heads that kinda make us want to punture our eardrums, if it would help. They tunnel their way into our psyche until we embarassingly find ourselves humming them for no damn reason. Thanks to DDR yesterday mine is currently: Believe ~ Cher

 Re: Earworm Thread!
Sometimes I just unknowingly hum and ocarina song from The Legend of Zelda series; that, or the Mario overworld theme, the Spider-man theme song, or any other themesong from and 80s-90s cartoon/video game. And I'm not even watching it or playing it.
My brother does the same thing, only with the Star Trek theme song - but he's a Trekkie and is therefore always thinking of something Star Trek related. I just hum random tunes whenever I'm bored and without an mp3 player.

 Re: Earworm Thread!
so at dance camp, we did a percussive piece to this Quebecois song...and now whenever I think about anything related to it, the song is stuck in my head for days and days and days. It was a great song until it started controlling my life. I also performed a Shaker dance recently, and all Shaker tunes start sounding the same after a while, especially when they're all you hear, they were running through my head all December, even when I was taking a test. gah!

 Re: Earworm Thread!
Currently, the song stuck in my head is "Call the Ships to Port" by Covenant. It's a hell of a lot better than something I heard on the oldies station I have to listen to at work!

May the blade of a Klingon warrior befall the one who mentioned the Star Trek theme!! As now it's stuck in my head as well.
Became iconic from the first movie, and throughout the TNG series.
Oh well, it's a hell of a lot better than the song for that Enterprise series, which I just started watching now on Youtube. Not bad actually, a hell of a lot better than DS9 or Voyager.

 Re: Earworm Thread!
Qapla'!!!
Now: A whole bunch of old school black and death metal songs from the early 90s mixed up with a chord or two of old school goth from the 80s.
For example: "After the Sepulture" by Samael mixed up with "Angel" by The Danse Society.

*sob* I am so lucky my ears have yet to be graced with the presence of that song. I've only read quotes from the song. ---- I have Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer stuck in my head. Awesome.

 Re: Earworm Thread!
I should have posted this here instead of in the "songs you are addicted to" thread.
I have had Lady Gagas "Bad Romance" stuck in my head for days now. Please, make the bad (wo)man stop!
