 Re: In Colorado
I am no longer in colorado, but I am from Colorado Springs. As a matter of fact, I will be there this Christmas.
Western Slope you say? Whereabouts?

 Re: In Colorado
Well, I'm in Denver. Seeing the Broncos play on Sunday. Does that invalidate my goth card? I swear I will be depressed and gloomy the whole time! (well, it IS the Broncos)
Spidey! You're going to be an hour from me for the holidays? You must ring me!

 Re: In Colorado
Well that's sorta depressing. I wonder if this is a good representation for all of Colorado?

 Re: In Colorado
I know this is an older topic but I felt dopey making a whole new one. I'm a Colorado girl! I live in Pueblo but my weekends are spent in Denver 90% of the time

 Re: In Colorado
We are moving back to colorado next month. I can't wait to see what's changed since I loved there last over 15 years ago and only get back maybe once a year for a few days. I am looking forward to putting Virginia in my rear view mirror and never seeing it again. ~spidey

 Re: In Colorado
I am a newcomer to the site. I live in a small neighborhood with a depleting goth population.
Who wants to give this dark corner dweller a warm welcome?

(Said the new guy, who happens to be from Denver...) Actually yes. We moved back to the springs last October. I am having a very difficult time finding a job in my field (television) so I took a low paying job at a local liquor store in the interim while I look for jobs in the outlying cities. It's beginning to look like we may at some point be moving to Denver because of the job situation down here, but also because the Springs simply sucks now. There is no culture and the old fogies out here are driving the city into the ground. ~spidey

~spidey The Springs? You have greater endurance than I. Every time I drive through there I find myself getting a bit unnerved by the "Focus on the Family" vibe of the place. And I'll agree about the folks running the place into the ground. How is driving with 1/3 of the street lights out working...? I'm new here, and you don't know me, but if you're in Denver and/or need a hand up here, let me know.

Well, I just moved here from Pat Robertson country, so it doesn't really phase me. Stilicho wrote: And I'll agree about the folks running the place into the ground. How is driving with 1/3 of the street lights out working...? By street lights they meant the illuminating kind, not the traffic lights. A good set of headlights and you'd barely even notice. And I have a few friends that live up that way already, but thanks for the invite. ~spidey
