A multifaceted goth? My tastes in the goth genres of music can vary. Plus my fashion goes from romantic, victorian or casual.

Persistence, perseverance, strength of will, and intellect is the key to "growing up goth". Oh my goodness. You handled that beautifully! -Came from the same Mormon type family, except they just hated my style and tried to change every bit of it. Thank goodness they dont have much of a say anymore.

My mum went through a mormon phase...she converted to annoy her parents! (And because she loves the Osmonds ^^;; ). I think she may well have been mormon still sometime after getting married and having me, but I'm just glad shes a very open sort of person. Whenever people criticised the way I dressed when I was younger, she always defended me and said "she's her own person and she's allowed to dress however she likes!" Good old mum.

I sort of a mix between Rivethead http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rivethead AKA "Industral" and Goth. Though i mostly stick to the rivethead i like wearing military stuff. I like wearing red stars and anarchy symbols. Wearing them is sort of a pun on communism And berets and all black military hats are a plus . I like collecting Soviet gear too http://www.frontofrussia.com/army.html

Re: What Type of Goth do you consider yourself
I've now defined my style as more Glam Goth / Flapper 1920s Goth, I like theatrical makeup and although I listen to anything from David Bowie to Sopor Aeternus I also love occasionally going Psychobilly and Deathrocker with ripped jeans, dr martens and a Cloche-like hat for a more casual look. Yet sometimes when in warmer weather I tend towards light and flowy gypsy-esque goth clothing and yes, I do own a corset. Whatever it is, it's all black to me. As with most Goths, I don't like pigeon holes but hey, if the boot fits!

Re: What Type of Goth do you consider yourself
The Trad, Deathrocker, Geek Goth. Pretty much take various aspects from all three and combine them to get me. First, I'll start with interests/appeals then move onto clothing style. Trad since my favorite bands are those that originally started the scene Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy etc. Plus, I dress pretty similar to trad, but not completely. I also have a bad habit that I'm not too proud of sometimes getting elitist when talking with people about what bands are Goth. By insisting Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy Joy Division, Siouxsie etc. Are goth bands. Deathrocker since I don't believe the sub-culture is dead and I do like a lot of Deathrock bands. Although, admittedly I don't like Christian Death. So, I'm not too extremely Deathrock, but I do like 45 Grave, Kommunity FK, Specimen, Alien Sex Fiend etc. A few of those are also associated with trad goth as far as I know. Not just music wise am I Deathrocker though. Since, a social punk aspect of me is that I'm extremely political. I watch politics on a daily basis and am extremely informed. Often, I try to talk about politics with people. Sometimes, too frequently at a obsessive level. An second social aspect that would relate to me that's associated with the Deathrocker sterotype is I think the Goth sub-culture is still quite alive. Due to Deathrocker being a mix between Punk and Goth I figure those two things should qualify as Deathrocker social aspects. Last, but not least Goth Geek. Since, I am absolutely a video game addict and have been since the day I was pretty much born. I'm also extremely into anime. However, as far as reading goes I'm pretty middle of the road. I do enjoy reading, but not crazily so. Then again, it depends. I've read a few novels Bram Stoker's Dracula, H.P. Lovecraft etc. Enjoyed them a lot. However, I particularly love poetry. If it's Poetry, I'll absolutely read it all time and love it. Meanwhile, books more like horror novels that aren't poetry I do enjoy reading, but not to the point where it's something I go crazy over. As far as clothing style goes... I am a combination of Goth Geek, Deathrocker and Trad in clothing style. I look like a mix between Deathrocker and Trad. Leather Jacket, Piercings, Spiked Hair, Black Pants, Black Shirts with band logos and Combat Boots. However, what makes me Deathrocker by the way I dress is the fact I wear a shirts all the times promoting bands and badges too promoting them. I try to promote the bands I like as much as possible. Although, the funny thing is primarily it's for more of the Trad goth bands. Like Bauhaus etc. Still, I do wear a few 45 Grave badges among others as far as Deathrock bands go etc. Also, my hair when it's spiked looks more Deathrocker then Trad. Although, I don't do anything too fancy to it like a Mohawk etc. Which brings me to the Goth Geek aspect. While I do look like a mix between both Trad/Deathrocker and probably closer to Deathrocker I don't dress too fancy. I don't wear any facial makeup or fishnets. Just black nail polish and that's pretty much it. Since, facial makeup doesn't really work on me. In the end though, I'm pretty much a combination of Trad, Deathrocker and Goth Geek. There's no one sterotype that fits me perfectly in the sub-culture.

Re: What Type of Goth do you consider yourself
I think after actually seeing the list of definitions earlier, I'm somewhere between cyber and geek goth. Leaning toward geek somewhat.

Based on this site: http://www.blackwaterfall.com/viewall.php I'm a combination of a romantic, rivethead, and perky.

Re: What Type of Goth do you consider yourself
For the hell of it I took this quiz - apparently I'm a "unity goth"! At least according to this, lol. Probably written by a kid but that's why it's "for entertainment purposes only".
