May 22nd (World Goth Day) May 27th (Feast Day of Saint Siouxsie Sioux) September 19th (Talk Like a Pirate Day) October 31st (Halloween) December 17th – 23rd (Saturnalia. Nobody works for an entire week. Black toga parties abound)
-- Nephele Don't forget Beltane... And, in the absence of a certified leader, or figurehead, I nominate the Vice-President's Birthday (15 February - nice and mid-way between Saturnalia and the Spring festivals). Otherwise this is fine with me! As is: - Vice-Prez Minnie

Given what happens on Beltane, are you also going to need an official Matchmaker?

Edwin Krebs is spinning in his grave... Krebs cycle? I always thought that was a kind of bike. No, the inhabitants of GSV (our airport code BTW) not being human should not require sunlight, sandwiches or Starbucks. McD is the exception as its not classified under food [1]. -LS [1] http://media.ebaumsworld.com/picture/FAQer/47_pics_60277.jpg

 Re: Gothsylvania
Good lord. We're now at 42 posts, have a full government, an airport, we've established that we believe in match-making, national holidays, nutrition...
Is there any limit to our inventiveness? And if we believe hard enough, can we wish Gothsylvania into existence?

 Re: Gothsylvania
Does Gothsylvania have a constitution? Yes, buts its very weak. {groan}
All we need now is a civil war to complete the picture. Should not be long now...
