You mean Volvo are now making vacuum cleaners, sponsored by the media giant responsible for the 'Twilight' adaptations?

The only question left... Do they sparkle?

Give it time. I expect the TwiNuts to come up with something.

Linux is nice, you can knock up a device driver very easily and hack the kerenel til you go glassy eyed. Using an RTOS is fun as well, eCOS was not bad, OS20 (for a mutant son of transputer) had half the OS in hardware - very small footprint for a 32 bit system. I play with PICs as well, so no OS.
Considering, VMS was nice, Unixy things passable and Primos sucked donkey balls.

My next short-term goal in life - decipher what the hell you just said.

(actually, I'll probably just ask my deciphering IT friend who will then roll his eyes at me)

Oh, and while I used Macs way back when I was little (that's what the schools had) as well as an old DOS system whose name I don't really know, I've used Windows most of my life. My laptop I'm on now has Vista, my others have XP. Never tried 7 yet. I have to say though that I fancy XP over Vista myself.

Windows 3.1 had its charms too from what I remember ;)

Windows 3.1 copied Mac os... But 3.1 was more popular...

Personally, 7 or Ubuntu(WINDOW$ or Linux)

Windows XP.

I've tried using Vista and Macs but I only find myself comfortable with XP. Possibly because I do a lot of things with my psp that require the command prompt, which Vista unfortunately lacks

Of the OS's I've used (Win 98, Win ME, Win XP, and Win Vista) I like Win XP the most.

Well I grew up at school using Windows 98, and convinced my parents to buy a computer when I was around that age, and they bought one in '00 I believe and it was Windows ME. Then the school started using Windows 2000. So I had experience with XP later and I had bought a Vista a couple years ago that I hated. It is by far the worst OS I have ever used. I've used Windows 7 to the extent that I've had to, it's nice, but definitely not my thing. When I finally started using Mac OS X, I knew I finally found the machine for me because of GUI and the exclusive programs for it. Also I've used Puppy Linux, and I only use it when a hard drive crashes so that the machine can be used until a new HDD is bought.
So all in all, I find it: Windows - only if needed. Mac OS X - favorite. Linux - emergency OS

If I had a windows emulator on linux* I would use it, cause it is my favorite! Mac= Bad for gamers, Windows= Crash too much, linux*= Free, open source and fully customisable! And if you like the OS X ui you can put theme on windows and I don't know for linux. And I don't like much mac because it costs much and un-upgradable(I could do a dream machine for that price ^^")

*Linux= Ubuntu

It's still not very reliable for gaming.
