Lived in Georgia my whole life but I don't even recall the last time I saw some else who looked even remotely goth, is there anyone else down here

I feel lonely :(

Post Re: Georgia goths
So i am From Florida (Jacksonville, so i am actually pretty close to Ga).

I rarely ever see anyone who looks like they could be Goth. Funny though, I have seen many Emos...one of which looked like he belonged in a magazine...i mean wow. I have no fondness of the whole emo thing, but the guy pulled it off. tight, tight jeans, te black button up, that really weird hair do (you know the long bangs and kind of short and spikey everywhere else type of thing)...it looked good on him.

I have also seen a few punk looking teenagers leaving Wal-Mart once. As for Goth though...no not yet. I am sure i would though, if i ever decided to go to the Goth culb (which i curently found out exists every Saturday Night) then i have a good chance of seeing other people like you and I.

Until then i just do not really care. Even if i seen someone who looked Goth As Fuck does not mean they would be, and i am the lat person who would ask, as it frankly is none of my business. I would however, compliment them on their outstanding appearance.

And do not feel lonely, i am only one state away and (depending on where in Ga) a few hours drive!

I am from GA.... I live in the little town in the northwest of this crappy state. And I see quite a few goths running around up here.

I am also in GA. Brunswick... there are none here that i know of. I don't go out much due to nothing interesting for me to do... Now savanah has a good goth community there, but that is like a hour drive and too far to just hang out.

Brunswick, huh? We are close enough to watch the same local news channel, I believe!

I wouldn't go as far as to actually call myself a goth, but I do like a lot of gothic things and I do live in Georgia.

Hey, any good Goth shops and/or clubs in Georgia? My boyfriend lives near there, it'd be cool to explore the scene, if any. :P

There is a shopping area in Atlanta with all kinds of neat stores. It's commonly referred to as Little 5 Points. Unfortunately, most of the stuff there is pricey because the stores are privately owned/extremely small chains and the area is a tourist attraction. The shops include:Le Petit Mort, Junkman's Daughter, Psycho Sisters, and Rag-O-Rama. There is plenty of goth stuff and shopping there is a lot of fun. There is even a store that specializes in Native American things. As for clubs, I know that there are some in Atlanta, but that's all I know. By the way, the owner of the Native American store hates cell phones and Junkman's Daughter has its own free-roaming cat! And then there was a New-Age store with both a snake AND a cat, but they were confined. That's how I remember it, anyway. I haven't been there in a while. If you don't have money to spend, it's plenty of fun just to walk around and explore.
