 Last film you watched
Not every film deserves a thread of it's own, but, if you're like me...you always want to talk about them anyway so heres a thread to do it in Oh and no spoilers please. last film I watched was the Russel Crowe Robin Hood : big bag of meh, it wasn't awful, though I did laugh at the accents a few times, but I can't think of a film that set itself up for a sequel so blatantly since LOTR, and at least that had a decent reason to do so.

 Re: Last film you watched
Last film in theatres of last film in general? I haven't been to the movies forever. I actually think the last time I went to the movies was to see Avatar in 3D when it came out. As for most recently watched movie that would be Barefoot in the Park.

The DVD for How to Train Your Dragon was released today, and I snagged one and watched it this evening. What a brilliant animated film! And also one of the best movies I've seen this year.

-- Nephele If you like the film, you'd LOVE the audio book. Promise. I've already mentioned "The Wolfman" in another thread, and I think that was the last film I watched (don't get much time for films thesedays between real life and gnet). Prior to that, I think "WALL-E". I love how it's a tour-de-force in the importance of sound to visual presentations. As well as just being visually stunning.

Re-watched "The Wolfman" last night; I just love the "look" of the film. After that, we happened upon a Mummy fest on Turner Classic Movies. Christopher Lee as the Mummy...excellent!

 Re: Last film you watched
Wednesday: How To Train Your Dragon ~ Loved it! I was a bit puzzled as to exactly why a bunch of Vikings had Scottish accents, though. Yesterday: Frankenstein(1931) ~ I hadn't seen this movie since I was about 8. Such a great film. Karloff is excellent. The Wolfman(1941) ~ First time I've seen this one! What a treat! Bela is just awesome and Chaney Jr. is quite dashing, although a bit stalkerish at first. Today: I will finish watching Bride of Frankenstein, Son of Frankenstein, Dracula(1931) perhaps if I have time maybe even Phantom of the Opera(1925). ^_^ Others I've watched recently: Creature From The Black Lagoon, Nosferatu(1922) for the hundredth time?, House of Wax(for the zillionth time?), Das Kabinett des Doktor Caligari

 Re: Last film you watched
Nephele I like The Witches of Eastwick with him more. I read also the novel, but I think the movie is easier to understand and much more pleasant.

 Re: Last film you watched
Underworld and Underworld Evolution. I was going to watch Underworld: Rise of the Lycans but it was already late...turns out I watched those AFTER the barefoot in the park...oops. And yeah since movie in with my grandmother those are all the movies I've actually sat down to watch (since I have to watch on my computer and on my computer I am easily distracted).
