Indeed, I see nothing wrong with a craftsperson showing off something they've created. Isn't that within the DIY ethos? Maybe if they hadn't said 'limited run' or 'customizable lining' it wouldn't have come off as shilling. Both of those are things people say to drum up interest in a marketable product. Y'all are to be commended for your vigilance in alerting about spam (preferably by using the private "Report this Post" function). The person in question has been PMed about his posting, as well as directed to our User Submissions, Promos & Feedback forum, where he may choose in time to post (once he's done his requisite minimum 10 postings on this board and people have gotten to know him better). In the meantime, he's introduced himself to us in the Introduction Thread. So let's drop this and get back on topic now. And, for those inclined to do so, post a friendly welcome to without_reason over in the Intro Thread. -- Nephele

And as a treat, the coffins I saw years ago had - get this - little skeletalized corpses in them! <3 Carpi, THIS was as close as I could come to what you described. And I couldn't find earrings, just the pendant.

Coffin Earrings? http://coffingems.com/Perhaps a bit pricey, but it made me grin. According to the site, only sterling is used.

Re: Lunchbox Goths and Coffin Earrings
I've seen some cute lunchbox purses, but never got them because it seemed like my stuff would roll around in there. I almost did give into them when I saw a coffin shaped one with a silver chained shoulder strap at goodgoth.com, but they were out of stock dammit. I never got into wanting coffin shaped earrings. I prefer them for purses, backpacks, and necklaces. Do they make coffin necklaces that open and close for you to put a picture in before I decide to google it? I would love to have one.

While Coffin Gems makes any type of jewelry, their selling point is their coffin-style faceted gems (hence "Coffin Gems"). From what I snooped, their necklaces are simple pendants whose focal point is their trademark coffin gem in whatever stone you please.

*Is wondering why she didn't look at this thread sooner*
Thanks Legend. It is very close, yes (actually, now that I look at them closely, these are the same charms! Happy day!!). I could just get two of them and convert them into earrings. ^_^
I've seen those studs before Kitten. They're very pretty (and shiny!) but the only thing that I think about is whether they can be visibly spotted out as coffin-shaped due to their size.
