Need help choosing FLAC player (physical one)
Hi there my daaaaaaaarlings (disturbing, isn't it?)
I want to get some new things this weekend and the thing I want to buy the most is a media player that supports lossless formats such as FLAC and orbis. What criteria should I judge with? I found this cute little player that is relatively inexpensive and plays all the formats I want and has a stable 8 GB memory. Do I need to look for other characteristics or it it enough?
Thanks in advance

Is this a portable hing like an Ipod or for at home? I'm not much of a tech head, so don't have much to suggest except for something you probably already know, seeing as you use lossless file types, but : Speakers/headphones (the latter being my preference), it won't matter if your player supports FLAC if your listening through something that doesn't do them justice. Yep, I'm talking about those, BlackMilk. So my additional question is, how should I choose speakers/headphones? Yeah, I'm a n00b XD

Dahlink!
I think if it says that it supports the file types that you favour then you are good to go! Ipods do not support lossless file types last time I checked. Zunes do or some types, IIRC.
I'm no expert at earbuds/headphones, but try several out instore if you can and get the ones that are most comfortable and sound the best to you.

Re: Need help choosing FLAC player (physical one)
So I guess there are no specific criteria to adhere to?

Nah, I think as long as the info about the mp3 player says that it plays that type of file there's nothing else that you need to look into, AFAIK.
