Post Zombie Crawls
What are your experiences with them? What did you do for your particular costume? My town is having a zombie walk event in October which is awesome because it's a small, uneventful, close-minded town. So it would be correct to say that this will be my first time participating in something like this. Though I have gone to horror conventions where you would see an occasional zombie or 10. Oh and if you have any pictures, feel free to post them. I'm currently trying to decide what I want to do.

In any zombie walk pics I've ever seen, the participants usually wear white shirts with blood splattered on the front, and white/grey zombie makeup. Oh, and oatmeal makes excellent-looking brain splatter. Hope this helps. :)
Here are some pics

Wow, I haven't seen one of these Zombie Walks in a while...
An important thing to remember is, (depending on the climate of where you live), have a water bottle with you to keep hydrated. I know it might ruin the zombie facade, but believe me, getting a dehydration headache halfway-through SUCKS.
I also find that red fabric paint mixed with a small amount of black fabric paint makes pretty realistic, dry splattered blood. If it's a spray can of fabric paint, push the sprayer down only halfway to get the splattered I-just-ate-someone look.
Don't wear your fancy shoes... (unless they're super comfortable)
I'd go with plain black running shoes. :)
That's about all I can offer concerning this...
Hope you have fun!

Last time I attended one, I just wore my normal clothes with blood splattered on all over me. It was hellish to remove, thank God I only wear black. Next year I plan on being a bit more original. Maybe I'll dress up as a nurse that was bitten while working her shift. Then I can wear comfortable shoes and it won't look out of place.
