ittybittybat WroteColonI think Gary Johnson was 44%. Never heard of him before, though.
ittybittybat WroteColonMy actual presidential soulmate is probably Jimmy McMillan because "THE RENT IS TOO. DAMN. HIGH!" He should run for president.
ittybittybat WroteColonDude, parties (and I mean the organizations themselves) piss me off on both sides. The focus is more on money than potential with these guys. Ick.

nachtvlinder WroteColonAll we hear about is Romney, Sanctorum, Perry and Gringich (and Ron Paul, occasionally). And some of those conservative candidates are so very far from my own political parties that it's hard to understand for me why they are so appealing to so many Americans. But then, I don't understand their equivalents where I live either.

Nachty, the reason why you don't hear about some candidates is because the ones that you do mostly hear about have the $$$$$ to run a successful election.

nachtvlinder WroteColonIs it really all about the $$$? That's sad, because you want to elect the most capable, and not the richest president-to-be.
Not related to this thread, but I always found it a pity that only Americans can vote, since who is in charge in the US influences my country - and many other countries - so much. I guess I'd just like a say in something that is going to affect me as well (granted, to a much lesser degree than US citizens).
Lachrymose WroteColonOh! And Nephele...have you anagrammed the Presidential Candidates yet
