Re: What does your name mean?
Im a Bond geek as well. Thus when I read the title on the album, I had to hear it. It has nothing in common with Alicia Keys.. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwELajFteTo

Re: What does your name mean?
It's a play on Black Sabbath's "Fairies Wear Boots", and also referencing that I'm a femmey gayboy in Doc Martens.

I use it because a dear friend that passed away a few years ago always told me I was "hopelessly romantic"

Well, my name means "black dove". It translates from Welsh, where my paternal grandmother came from wales.

Re: What does your name mean?
My username is pretty self explainatory, as to why I chose it, I've always loved the macabre. Tombs, crypts and graveyards have always had a relaxing effect on me, and I also 'studied' necromancy for a few years after my mother's death.

Re: What does your name mean?
Oidhche-Yorath is the name of a prominent character of mine, and a cartoon-y version of him can be seen in my avatar here. His name is Gaelic and Welsh and essentially translates to Night and Handsome Lord. I could say more but that would drag on, if you're that curious ask me in a PM.
As for my personal name, that would translate to "The Allies" (first), "Cliff or Rocky" (Middle), and "Beloved" (last). Go figure that one out.

(Although, admittedly, a bit nattily dressed for an Elder God.) Cool name! -- Nephele

Re: What does your name mean?
My username is just a word for a woman who has black hair. However, full disclosure -- I'm a natural brunette with quite a bit of premature gray (thanks for those genes, mom!). As a result I keep a jar of Manic Panic hair color in Raven on hand at all times. Besides that, I just thought it sounded neat.

As for the Elder God bit, that's more sounding like his nightmare splinter self... Though far too silly for Elder-God status even then! He is a dapper one though, isn't he?

Mine comes from my days as a chorister. Even back then I was wearings DMs, a trenchcoat and growing my hair long... Anyway, before I start reminiscing, we had a mass setting by Harold Darke. Which happened to be in F. That explanation probably took longer than it needed to really.... oh well

I named myself after a play I love by Tracy Letts, that was also made into a film by the guy who did The Exorcist.

Re: What does your name mean?
My name comes from my second favourite colour (Sanguine) and my star sign (Libra, which is shown with the scales of justice - law), along with my favourite Latin phrase "Semper Ero" meaning I will always be/exist (hence the ∞).
