Glad you got your phone back Puck. :)

Hrm, I think my diet/exercise is failing. I've been seeing some pounds come creeping back. Time to exercise more I think.

Congrats, Cutty!

Excessively cleaned house today. I guess it was too much for me and I fell asleep or passed out in the bathtub (it was empty!). I don't know how or when I went into the bath... so... o_O Maybe my blackouts are starting again? I hope not!

Hopeless, I sure hope not.

Did you eat enough today? Sometimes if you go like 12-17 hours without food or anything your body crashes and you pass out. Happened to me once after I got out of the shower one morning.

Oh is that what it's about?

The DVD I ordered from Amazon, 8 Heads in a Duffle Bag has arrived! Woot! Tonight I'm going to be in Joe Pesci heaven.

It's fictional and its a comedy. So I don't think you can make goth points with. There is another funny story from the Wacken. Europes biggest Heavy Metal Festival. A totally drunken biker stumbled and dashed against an ambulance which was on the way to rescue another lush. He broke his neck. Do you get this sublime ironie of life?

You know what? I don't really give two flips about whether or not I make goth points by watching a Joe Pesci movie.

And yes, I get the sublime irony of life. The thing is, you see, I also know the difference between fiction and reality. So while I may find a movie like 8 Heads in a Duffle Bag amusing, or I may be entertained by a violent video game, I otherwise take no pleasure in the genuine suffering of real people. Tsunami tragedies or cancer wards or accident victims do not elicit reactions from me of: "oh wow, that's so goffick!" Those who laugh (such as those girls on the train that I mentioned) at the personal tragedies of real people are basically assholes who need to mature a bit. At the very least, it seems that such people have difficulty separating fantasy from reality.

Agreed. I hate it when people are hurt. A hearty dose of compassion can do a person good.

Well-said. And while I realise that the comments on this forum might have been tongue-in-cheek, I still think it was poor taste considering the context.

There are little children who wouldn't laugh at something like that.

Nephele, I think others summed up what I feel about what you said, I agree with you fully.

Sounds compelling. I wonder if the DVD store will have it in stock...

You can get Carnival of Souls in the Horror Classics box set (which is dirt cheap now, I bought it for $15 and it comes with 50 movies), which you can buy at places like Bet Buy and Wal-Mart.

Wow. Nicely stated. I feel exactly the same way. I'm glad to see that there are people that actually have morals on this planet. I respect you greatly. :)
