Yeah, I've been listening to The Head on the Door. I know I've said I didn't like the old Cure, but what I meant was that I didn't like Pornography.

I get there, go into Spencer's Gifts and I immediately hear Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Cure right after. I tell you, they had a great music selection and it thoroughly surprised me! Cool! Reminds me whenever I hear a Siouxsie and the Banshees song during a movie or television show. Granted, this happens rarely, but here's a lovely example of when it does! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X9HojJ6N5I

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
I have had the best week i have had in months. No big things, just staying home with my husband, refusing to answer the phone if it is someone who will upset me, playing LoTRO and Horse Eden Eventing and keeping cool. ( i like warmer than average temps in the winter, but a temp of 100F with 70% humidity just isn't right for the mountains of northwestern Pennsylvania. Thanks for the encouragement everyone, it's so good to have friends. hope it cools off by August as I really want to do some outdoor stuff before the snow hits again.

Tendonitis in my arm, yay! Necromantic Lovely: I am envious, the Spencers I've ever been to are always playing some awful rap music or Megadeth. Glad to hear things are good for you, SisterSandy. My partner and I are staying inside and enjoying plenty of Dungeons and Dragons Online, like you two and your Turbine game. It's 96 here in Reno today. House is nice and closed up with the fans on. I eagerly await Winter. Thanks for the support to people who wished us well after the loss of our cat. The vet's office sent us a lovely support card in the mail yesterday.

Haven't been on here in a while! I got a job recently and I'm happy as anything working there, too bad I can't work there 24/7 to keep my mind off of things. How's everyone else? I don't know many of you that well at all, but I hope you're all good.

Where do you work/what do you do? Doing well today, thank you.

Thanks I work at Argos for minimum wage at the moment, nothing extremely special but it is a start, one that I've been hoping for for quite some time now. It'll get me on the path to a fruitful career, at least staying employed will. Yeah I'm guessing you have to look for a job that doesn't mind your appearance? Been there, don't worry as long as you persist you'll find one no matter how difficult it will be at first. We live in a shallow world really, I wish it was different but it isn't. Glad you're doing well and good luck searching for a job, make sure to look under every stone haha, bar work might be a good start?

I wouldn't mind being a bartender, and certainly Reno is a good city for that. First I would need the money to get the card for serving it however. It is my understanding that one has to start very low, such as a Bar Helper or some such to get there. I haven't looked as hard as I could in that direction of course. I probably should.

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
Thoughts? Good. I have tons. Except I always start talking with a rhetorical about what I hate. Mostly justified. What occurs to me, is that everything you see on the screen has already been processed, right? It's been through the system before you ever see it. If you don't know what happens then, someone could censor it or tamper with it. You would never know. I'm pretty sure that was basically in a Metal Gear Solid...
Also, random thought just now. How do I know that you aren't all just figments of my own imagination? That sounds quite..what's that word...ugh. Got punched in the head and now I keep forgetting words...

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
Where I live, to become a bartender you require a certification called Serving It Right, which is basically just Common Sense 101 You also may need another little course called Food Safe, so you can work in restaurants. Starting up as a bar-back is probably what one would get as a "first job" as a bartender. I've considered it, but I'm not sure I could keep up with the pace. However, as September looms closer and closer - I just might have to courses of some kind locally because I'd hate to become idle apart from doing volunteer shifts at the Canadian Cancer Society and whenever my father's friend needs me to send him photos of sites he's planning on designing offices for. And Amnesia, I get that way too.

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
I've been to the WorldPride event in London this weekend. And to be honest, I'm disappointed. I've waited for it so much, and it turned out to be so... uneventful. It's a shame that they bad to scale it back due to lack of money; it was a WORLDpride, for god's sake! Also, I marched in the asexuality group in the purple section, and they were at the very end of the parade, so I didn't see much But, at least, I can now say that I attended an LGBT parade... Also, it made me realize how little money I have I'm sick and tired of being so poor all the time And how can I really live on £400 a month? In other news I signed up today to sponsor a dog... It's only £2 a week, because I can't really afford more, but I figure every money is useful, even if it's not much, right? And it's a valid UK organisation, so it should be okay. And my dog lives in Leeds, so goth! I'd love to find one for cats, too, if I ever find a better paying job.

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
I just found out that my cousin's wife who was pregnant with their third child just lost the baby. Also last week a friend of mine went in for a check up and the doctor couldn't find a heartbeat for her baby; she was five months along and it was her and her husband's first kid. Now I'm jut waiting for the third sad thing to happen, since they always come in threes.

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
Ugh... Well... I haven't really been feeling that great lately. My sleeping schedule is back on the vampire side again, for starters... Man... Let me tell you, it is hard being half vampire and half mortal... My sleeping biorhythm is all over the place... Besides that... Serious financial troubles, some health problems, some mental struggles... You know, the usual... I've haven't really been motivated to do much and I'm quite depressed... Quite a lot running around in my head... Any more and I may go mad... My problems aside, I really need to get on here much more, even if I'm feeling horrible... I love coming on here, and of course I love talking to you all...It helps me feel better...even if it is only a little... It is one of the few things keeping me around, to put it bluntly... At any rate... I'm glad to be here again. Edgar the Girl: I'm sorry to hear that horrible news... It really makes me feel awful to read something like that... Something like that is really difficult to deal with, but don't feel like something else bad will happen... It'll be alright... You aren't alone in these difficult times. You have my best wishes... morana: I know the financial struggle all to well. We could barely afford groceries here... We gotta do what we can, huh? I wish the best for you to... Amnesia Strange: Very good point you have there. We would never know huh? I guess the best we can do is trust in what we see here... And I hear ya about everyone being a figment of the imagination.... Sometimes I feel like everything in my life is like that... As for anyone else I may have missed in my post: You all have my best wishes in whatever you may be going through...

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
Hello, ladies and gentlemen, I've missed you I've been down with thyphoid fever, but I'm much better now, but I'm still tired, so I'm just resting in my bed bed most of time. Not 100 percent healthy yet, though. So I've been playing a lot on my computer. Am I the only one who thinks games are much scarier than books and movies? Because I do. It's like I'm there, and those monsters are going to eat me - for real. Penumbra was really scary. I actually had nightmares after playing that.

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
Hello Alice, welcome back. Three and a half weeks ad the man I love will be coming back home to me, and the past year will be like a bad dream. Or so I hope. He's in Greece now, and I miss him already. Edgar, I'm sorry for your bad news, that's such a horrible thing to happen to anybody.
