 Gothic Wish List
Everyday I find new and wonderful things on the internet, or while i'm out and about. I was thinking, why doesn't Gnet have something like this? A gothic Wish/Dream/Want list of sorts? Found something awesome and just don't want to keep it to yourself? Dreaming to win the lottery to get that special something? Coveting something of a friends? I am an Etsy addict. You can look at some of my unique finds here. Please post your little black heart's desire!

 Re: Gothic Wish List
Fun idea for a thread. Etsy addict here, also. I have my favorites saved here if anyone wants a look. What I really covet now is a pair of Fluevog Hjordis boots in black. The red is lovely, too, but black goes with everything. *wistful sigh*

 Re: Gothic Wish List
Actually I don't own any Fluevog shoes (yet)! But, I have read many positive things about them.
Both of the pairs you posted are beautiful.

 Re: Gothic Wish List
Largely, I could see wanting some Demonia boots for myself, in probably in the 'combat' style because I have wretched balance issues.
Ummm, I'd also like a frock coat made in my size - I stand 5'8 and I'm fairly thin. Most male fashions do not fit me very well. Hence, the need for custom clothing when it comes to certain *potential* pieces of my wardrobe.
I'd also like a well-made leather skirt and to find a fishnet top for myself. I need to find a good white powder and black eyeliner as well - seeing as I'm eventually going to be taking my look one step further and adding make-up to the mix.
I'd hate to look tacky.

 Re: Gothic Wish List
I'd like some extremely comfortable boots, a pair of granny boots, a mourning dress from Retroscope and some strange jewelry. I'd also like a nearby club with a goth/80's night. I'm sure I could think of a few more wild things I'm never going to get. I'm not greedy at all or anything. Orlock, I do like frock coats, good luck finding yours. HopelessRomantic and Noirette- those are gorgeous.

 Re: Gothic Wish List
I've looked EVERYWHERE for this coat and can't find it anywhere. Aside from that, a pair of 14 eyelet black dm's is on my list.

 Re: Gothic Wish List
My top item is the longest of long shots. I had a cool necklace once. Sort of the shape of a scarab crossed with maybe a horned beetle, cheap pewter. I got it at one of those hippy shops in a mall in the 90's. I would up giving it to a friend years ago.
problem is, I have never found anything remotely as cool. And it being a cheap piece, I have no way to track down another one. No idea the artist's name, and have never seen another like it.
I tend to browse the jewelry any time I am in a head shop, thrift store, ebay or etsy, but I know it is the longest of long shots.
but it's still fun to wish, right?

 Re: Gothic Wish List
Well the most precious piece for me is my black leather trench coat. My "trench" is belt less, knee length, straight down style women's coat from a local thrift store. Around here a trench would be 600-800 or more, got mine for 40 bucks! Love my trench. After that would be my dm's, of course all my black and goth accessories are great, I'm just starting out after all.
What I'm hoping for? A wide brimmed hat for one, low budget waiting for one to grace a thrift store. Also hoping for enough material to build up that I can build me some more gear. Wrist bands, bullet belt and a choker (though I may build one)... Oh, and a wish list of what I'm going to wear this summer cause I have no idea, may just go rivethead?

Fluevog Derby Swirl. I've owned these for years, and it looks like they'll last another 20. They're comfortable and durable. I highly recommend Fluevogs, and I lust after more. See Noirette's and HopelessRomantic's posts.

 Re: Gothic Wish List
I don't typically go to any kind of clubs or concerts, I will generally just wear my crazy stuff in public, going to the mall or any kind of fair. When do you guys wear your stuff?
